I'm a fashion basket case and a bit of a pack rat, so I'm doubly doomed. I offer this photographic proof that I'm:
1. Clearly from Massachusetts, and
2. Clearly stuck in the 1990s.

On the positive side, I also have plenty of "proper" clothes for when I want to clean up real nice, but I'm not posting about those because who'd want to read captions such as:
"Got this sweet baby on sale at Marshalls (30% off!)" and "I had to buy a new white shirt - THANKS, MUSTARD."

Eh. Also, I still have to add the ones that need to go through the laundry first. So yeah, I have even more.

Belly -
Early 1990s, circa "Star". I saw them at Avalon in, oh, let's say 1993. If I remember correctly, this was their second appearance in Boston promoting their debut album. Since they were essentially Boston-based, they both opened and concluded the tour locally. The opening act was the Catherine Wheel, and Tanya Donnelly came out to perform "Judy Staring At The Sun" with the band. I didn't see their first show at the venue early in the tour, but I know who opened for them: Radiohead.

Buffalo Tom -
"Smitten"-era (late 1990s). Yep - I have two of them, in different colors. Don't remember why I bought them both, but glad I did.
Clash of the Titans Tour - 1991. At Great Woods in Mansfield, MA. Alice In Chains, Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer. First and last time at a Slayer show for me, I think. Fans were crazy, but I was safe under the shed and not on the lawn.
Dear Leader -
Both circa 2003/04. The gray one is circa "The Good Times Are Killing Me", the red one circa "All I Ever Wanted Was Tonight"
Dethklok -
I made this one at home with an iron-on transfer, using images I edited and manipulated with Photoshop. Make your own with this logo and band photo. Perhaps Nathan Explosion just had an explosion, if you know what I mean, based on the looks on their faces?
Dinosaur Jr -
This shirt, sadly, has been retired. I bought it in the early 1990s, and it's falling to pieces. The collar is coming apart, and the bottom seem has come loose. Farewell, old friend!
Faith No More -
I think I got this t-shirt at Newbury Comics in Boston in 1991 during a trip into town to see the Sox at Fenway. I didn't actually see this tour, unfortunately, but did see the "Angel Dush" tour. Virtually unwearable in its condition.
Foo Fighters -
Got this shirt at Avalon in Boston before their first album was released, so I guess it was '93 or '94. They opened for Mike Watt, and tour was a big draw because Watt's guitarist was Eddie Vedder. Pearl Jam hadn't released Vs. yet, as I recall, but the band was huge. Vedder and his wife also opened the show as noise-rock due "Hovercraft".
Goldfrapp -
A homemade design based on this logo. For whatever reason, she doesn't seem to sell shirts made for men, so I made my own in 2008. I saw her on the "Supernature" tour in Portland, OR, at the Crystal Ballroom.

I went to the show at the Rat with Letters to Cleo and Smackmelon. The bouncers almost didn't let Kay Hanley into the venue, because she looked so young.

I got this one outside of the Orpheum for $10 from a bootleg t-shirt seller.

The first show I ever went to was the Crowes / ZZ Top at the Worcester Centrum. I bought the shirt through the Crowes fan club, though. This shirt is in pretty rough shape.
The Sheila Divine -
The blue one is circa "Countrymen", the gray circa "Secret Society", I believe. The blue one's in rough shape these days, and the Swan one is too depressing some days.
The Sheila Divine - "Missiles" (2007) from the reunion shows. The "dots" logo was won via e-bay and is early "New Parade" era. It's all kindsa messed up. First, it's too tight, but more importantly - I kid you not - the sleeves are sewn on backwards. The first time I put it on, I knew it was wrong ... the long sleeve shirt to the left is "Secret Society" era and is one of my favorite cool-weather shirts.

Both of these are pretty much unwearable and not weren't bought at shows, though I've seen UO twice. Never saw the Mats, regrettably. Shirt circa "Don't Tell a Soul" era. Note that "Sacramento" is incorrectly spelled in the middle of the tour dates.

My old BU hockey jersey - man this thing is a mess. The Hockey East log is worn off, and there it's stained from years of wear and tear.

I don't wear this here in New Jersey, for obvious reasons. This shirt is circa 2002 or 2003 (Nomar's #5 is the other drawback).
2008 Pawtucket Red Sox
Red Sox shirt, a gift from my former employers AllMed Healthcare Management on my birthday in 2004. That year, the "curse" was broken. COINCIDENCE?

Fenway Park Exorcism - 1992. Mere weeks after arriving in Boston for college, I skipped an early morning chemistry class to go see Father Guido Sarducci's exorcism of Fenway Park. Only 104 shirts were made for the event, so this is a prized possession. I also have a lot of Red Sox hats, but only one head.
WWF Attitude - A shirt that Vince McMahon has to have blurred out from DVD releases, because he lost a lawsuit to the World Wildlife Fund regarding the "scratch" logo. Years of wear have distorted the shape of this t-shirt.

bWo (Blue World Order) (above) / ECW (right) -
These are original shirts (not WWE-era reprints) purchased at ECW house shows in the Boston area in the late 1990s. I've been asked on more than one occasion where I got the bWo one, but I doubt they're made anymore. The ECW shirt is falling apart.
